Verizon Business advances global growth strategy with new leadership structure

Basking Ridge, NJ — Verizon Business today announced new and streamlined roles for its management team that went into effect at the end of last month. This new infrastructure supports the organization’s mission of providing best-in-class solutions and services, and addresses the rapidly growing demand for 5G solutions that power business transformation needs of the company’s key stakeholders around the world.

These changes, centered around accelerated growth, include the following executives reporting to Sampath Soumyanarayan, CEO, Verizon Business:

  • Aparna Khurjekar: New Chief Revenue Officer of Business Markets and SaaS with Connect and Blue Jeans.

  • Massimo Pecelli: New Chief Revenue Officer for the global enterprise and public sector.

  • Jennifer Artley: Senior Vice President, 5G Acceleration, leads the newly created team completely dedicated to 5G adoption and monetization.

  • Eric Sevis: Continues to lead the Partner Solutions-Global Wholesale team.

  • Iris Meijer: Continues to lead the Marketing and Revenue Operations team.

  • Debika Bhattacharya: The leadership of our product organization continues.

  • Genia Wilbourn: Joins Verizon Business team from Global Network & Technology as Global Customer Operations Leader.

  • Chris Bartlett: Joins Verizon Business from the corporate finance team as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Business Strategy, Planning and Transformation.

Additionally, Sanjiv Gosain joined Verizon this summer to lead Verizon Business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), reports Massimo Pacelli. Sanjeev joins Cognizant, where he leads its digital business across Europe.
