Timothy Brian Novell

Timothy Brian Novell, 58, of Faulkner, NY, died unexpectedly on July 16, 2022, while vacationing in San Francisco, Calif. Tim was born on March 9, 1964, at Beale Air Force Base in California, to Mary L. and Richard A. Novell Senior.

Tim graduated from Jamestown High School in 1983, and was an invaluable member of the varsity wrestling team. He was an industrialist by trade. His employment history includes Faulkner Plate & Glass, Bush Industries, and more recently RHI Monofrax, where he was known as a hard worker and a good friend.

Tim’s hobbies included traveling, exploring, grilling, and watching sports. He was fond of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabers, professional wrestling, and the SF Giants.

Tim was a devoted father whose life was centered around his daughters. His last two weeks on Earth were especially meaningful to him, as he explored the city of San Francisco with his daughter Cassie and spent quality time with his first granddaughter, Alice. Tim was very excited to be reunited with his birth state, California.

Tim lived in the moment and lived every day according to his belief that time with family and helping and caring for others was the most important thing in life. His sense of humor and adventurous spirit welcomed him wherever he went.

Tim’s family consists of his daughters: Sarah Novell of Buffalo, NY and Cassandra Novell (Jason Chen) of San Francisco, California; granddaughter, Alice; and grandchildren: Leo and Benjamin Chen of San Francisco Calif.; parents Richard A. and Mary Nowell Sr. of Jamestown, NY; Siblings: Cynthia McIntyre (Michael) of Randolph, NY, Richard Novell Jr. (Takako) of Asheville, NY, Steven Nowell (Tess) of Jamestown, NY, Susan Thomas (Stanley) of Jamestown, NY, Dana Nowell, Friesburg, NY, Corey Novell of Jamestown, NY, and Melissa Novell (Louis Rhone) of Cleveland, Ohio; As well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Linde Funeral Home.

Sacrifice will be done in Lake View Cemetery

Friends will be welcome at the funeral home from 4-7 pm on Wednesday.
