However, a Tate spokesman denied the claims but declared that the fight would be a global event.
The spokesperson told Mirror Boxing: “There are currently no productive conversations with Jake Paul’s team regarding the fight between him and Andrew.
“We know that this is a fight the world wants to see because of Andrew’s rise in popularity.
“However, at this time, there is nothing to report.”

Paul, who has over 20 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, was due to fight Hasim Rahman Jr. this weekend before the show was called off at the last minute.
The 25-year-old declared himself “the most feared person in boxing” and called out Rahman for his “lack of professionalism” in moving the goalposts over the agreed-upon weight limit for his fight.
Rahman himself was a late replacement for former Love Island star Tommy Fury, who has now canceled two feuds with Paul.
And now Paul has targeted October for his next fight, with Tate placed as a contender.

Tate himself has appeared in Big Brother, but he was removed from the show after a video of him beating a woman surfaced online.
Tate has recently become popular on the social media platforms Instagram and TikTok, while the latter does not have an official account, often causing heated debate among controversial viewers.
His net worth is said to be at least £16.2m.
A Tate spokesperson said: “We have also learned that Jake Paul and his team intend to call Andrew out through a collection of YouTube/Instagram videos.

“However, as stated earlier, there have been no official talks regarding the fight.”
Paul’s record in boxing currently stands at five wins and zero losses.
