The Abano Healthcare Group account in Australia has consolidated its media agency account in Australia with OMD as its sole agency partner, following a competitive pitch process. Abano Healthcare Group is a dental support organization with Australian brands including Maven Dental and 1300Smiles Dentist.

Mindshare wins Victorian Labor Party pitch
According to industry insiders, Mindshare has won the media agency’s pitch for the Victoria arm of the Australian Labor Party (ALP). The agency was against OMD and Dentsu for the account.

The top 10 advertiser, Coles Group, is making its own exclusive agency, Smith Street, with Omnicom, the winner of its pitch.
Coles described the four-and-a-half-month RFP process for its marketing services as “robust.” In March the supermarket group opened its agency roster to pitch for the first time in more than a decade.
