Brown has reportedly been hit with some hard-hitting news on Sunday.
According to a report from Cleveland.com, rookie wide receiver Isaiah Weston is likely to suffer a torn ACL.
“Isaiah Weston, who was an excellent camp, was suspected to have a torn ACL, says the source. Not yet confirmed, but not feeling well. Camp WR was replaced by David Bell, Anthony Schwartz and Jevon Wims. Will also be added below,” reports Mary Kay Cabot.
It’s a brutal hit for Weston, who was doing really well training camp.
One fan tweeted, “Hey. Let’s hope the baby makes a full recovery.”
“Just looks awful for him. I had him as a surprise player to make 53. Honestly I was on the fence about Woods, but I highly doubt he doesn’t do that anymore. In camp Looks great so far (no pads I know of) ). #brown Put him on IR and he gets a chance next year,” said one fan.
“And that’s why you don’t start counting roster spots anymore. You don’t know what’s going to happen, what could hurt. Keep that in mind when you unnecessarily debate the decision to run today,” Another fan wrote.
Hopefully Weston can make a full recovery.
