Marshawn Lynch: Police pull ex-NFL star out of sports car during DUI arrest, bodycam video shows

Police have released body camera footage of officers dragging ex-NFL star Marshon Lynch out of his car as he was arrested for an alleged DUI.

Running back, the Seattle Seahawks are seen in video arguing with Las Vegas officials before they dragged him out of a black sports car that was missing one of his front tires.

“I’m just asking what’s the problem?” Lynch asked officers as they stood around the Shelby GT500 and waited to voluntarily exit.

“The car is not on, the car is not moving,” the 36-year-old said.

But the officers ran out of patience and warned Lynch that not getting out was in itself an arrestable offense.

“Right now, if you don’t get out of the vehicle, you will be charged with obstructing the investigation,” one of the police officers warned him.

“It’s a criminal offense and you will go to jail.”

When Lynch remained in the car, one of the officers pulled her out and Lynch was handcuffed and arrested on suspicion of a DUI.

“Roll over. Hands behind your back. No more games today,” an official told him.

In the video, officers can be heard saying that the smell of alcohol was coming from the lynch.

Police say Lynch was also cited for failure to refuse/surrender, failure to drive in the travel lane, and driving an unregistered vehicle.

His bail was reportedly set at $3,381 and Lynch is due in Las Vegas Municipal Court on December 7.

The arrest report said Lynch, 36, was uncooperative with officers and fell asleep several times during interrogation. The report said prison officials had to “use a restraint chair to draw blood” after a judge issued a warrant.

Lynch’s lawyers have said that since the car was “safely parked” they are “confident that when all evidence is presented, it will not be a DUI under Nevada law.”
