Man shoots himself due to loss in business in Bhajanpura

A businessman committed suicide by shooting himself in the head late on Tuesday night in Maujpur area of ​​Bhajanpura in northeast Delhi.

Giving information, a senior police officer said, “After receiving information about the suicide, a team of local police reached the spot and took the blood-soaked man to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.”

“No suicide note was found from the deceased, who has been identified as 42-year-old Yogendra alias Rinku. However, the police came to know that he had suffered a huge loss in his business through his relatives. Because of this, he went into depression,” said the police officer.

“During the preliminary investigation, the police did not find anything suspicious. Hence it is being treated as a case of suicide.”

The police also recovered a country-made pistol from the deceased, which was found to be illegal. A case has been registered in this regard and efforts are on to trace the source of the illegal weapon recovered.

The deceased lived in a joint family in Maujpur area. He was the owner of a jeans factory in Loni area, which is said to have been running at huge losses for a long time. Other family members were shocked by this incident. When they reached Rinku’s room after hearing the loud sound of bullets, they saw that she was lying unconscious in a pool of blood. He had a country-made pistol in his hand.
