LAFARGEVILLE — Edwards native Tim Fuller won his fourth 358-amended 25-lap feature of the season on Friday night at Can-Am Speedway.
Fuller started from 12th position, but worked his way through the field from the 10th lap to reach second. He then beat Billy Dunn of Watertown off the line on the lap-12 restart and led the rest of the way. Ryan Bartlett of Watertown earned second place while Dunn finished third.
Tyler Corcoran, last year’s track champion, won the 20-lap sportsman feature for his second win of the season. Corcoran held off Mike Fowler on a late restart to take his first win since the opening week.
The other winners were Josh Verne Jr. (602 Panther Crate Sprint), Paul Dereuter (limited player) and Jock Symonds (Thundercar).
On Thursday, it rained makeup race at Mohawk International Raceway in Aquesne. The night race was scheduled to make May 27 the previous rain date. The track will attempt to run again at 7 pm on Friday.
Matt Shepard was the first driver in a SuperDirtCar big-block modified series to win back-to-back races in a 73-lap battle of Midway on Thursday at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown.
Eight-time Series Champion Shepard defended Anthony Perego for the win. Max McLaughlin, Stewart Frisson and Larry Waite rounded out the top five.
Current points leader in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is Tim McCready of Watertown, eighth.
