Robert Cormier, who played Finn Couture in the long-running family drama ‘Heartland’, has died at the age of 33.
The actor passed away on Friday, but his death was not confirmed as of Tuesday (28.09.22) and the cause of death is yet to be announced.
An obituary for the actor printed by People remembered him as “an athlete, an actor and a great brother”.
It added: “He had a passion for helping others and always wanted to achieve more. He enjoyed film nights with his family, and admired his father a lot.
“He influenced many people throughout his life, be it family, teammates and friends.
“Rob’s memory will live on through his passion for art and film; Also his three sisters who were like the world to him.”
UPTV, which airs Heartlands, paid tribute to Robert on Tuesday with an Instagram post that said: “Robert Cormier, aka Heartlands Finn, was an amazing talent, gone too soon.
“We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Our sincere condolences to his friends, family and colleagues.”
The tribute was signed with an emoji of a white bird in flight.
Heartland’s official Instagram said: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Cormier. He was a beloved member of ‘Heartland’ for the past two seasons.
“On behalf of the cast and crew of ‘Heartland’, our condolences are with him and his family, who have sought privacy during this difficult time.”
Robert debuted on “Heartland” in the show’s fifteenth season, playing a new love interest and scenes he had already filmed are set to be included in series 16, which begins on October 2.
Robert is also known for playing Kit Jenning in the Netflix series “Slasher” and made guest appearances in “Designed Survivor”, “Ransom” and “American Gods”.
