Free entertainment started at the fair

The Campbell County Fair continues its tradition of world-class free entertainment with this year’s line-up. Tomorrow, August 3rd, is the first day of free entertainment at the fair at Cam-Plex and our free entertainment runs through Saturday, August 6.

Remember, Wednesday and Thursday attendance is always a little lighter, so if you can bring your family early, avoid the crowds. For the complete schedule, please click here.

The All Aboard train will take fair patrons around the grounds on August 3-6.

The ever popular All Aboard train will run from Wednesday to Saturday from noon to 6 pm. There are train stops in the fairgrounds that help take fair visitors around the CAM-PLEX facility.

Hockey Circus Show
Paz entertaining event participants with hockey circus show.

Named one of the “21 Most Canadian Things You’ll Ever See” by BuzzFeed, Hockey Circus is the only person on the show who juggles a hockey stick—and Paz sets his hockey stick on fire. This crowd pleaser has three shows every day at 10:30 a.m., 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The Copper Mountain Band in the fair will be held for only two days, on August 3 and 4.

The Copper Mountain Band is a high-energy country and classic rock group that can play at any venue and attract any audience. The band was originally formed in 2007 and has toured over the past decade. In addition to being able to cover any song request from country to rock ‘n’ roll, lead singer, Jack Jolen can captivate any audience with her original tunes! The Copper Mountain Band will perform at the fair on August 3 and 4 under free stage tents sponsored by Campbell County Health at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

With six musicians representing four generations of musical heritage, all vocalists who play 23 different instruments simultaneously, the Rockland Road Band is a powerhouse group, characterized by soulful vocals with pure, exuberant joy. The Rockland Road Fair will take place on August 5 and 6 at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. under free stage tents sponsored by Campbell County Health.

Michael Mezmer
After a decade away, Michael Mezmer is back at the Campbell County Fair this year.

Hypnotist Michael Mezmer is bringing back his award-winning show to excite the imagination and blow your mind. Michael is a multi-time Campbell County Fair artist who was brought back by popular demand. He has appeared at Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags, Knott’s Amusement Park, La Vegas, and on national television. Michael is certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and holds a degree in Psychology from the University of the California Coast. Michael will entertain fair friends on August 3 at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm at the Plaza Tent. Michael will perform on August 4 – 6 at 1:15 pm, 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm

mike walker
Mimic Mike Walker has an incredible show for all ages.

An incredibly talented imitator, Mike Walker brings his repertoire of over fifty celebrities to one stage. He also skillfully delivers his music in this incredibly entertaining show. Watch them channel a variety of singers including Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, Justin Bieber, Journey, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart and Elvis Presley. Walkers will perform at the Free Stage Tents sponsored by Campbell County Health at 12 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Don’t forget about Grand Illusion by Blooms, Bubble Tower and Stilt Party, The Farmers Daughter Show, and action entertainment laser tag, racing, and bouncers. And a local favorite—Bill Crowley—is back for another year to do free caricatures.

Kip is for one night at the attaaway fair.

Adults, don’t forget about Mele’s Adult Night Out, tomorrow night at 7 p.m., Fair is delighted to welcome acclaimed cowboy comedian Kip Ataway for a $10 show at Energy Hall. Griners is also bringing its mobile ax unit to Ax House event attendees. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door in advance.
