It is the sixth day and one of the major events of Falmouth Week is going to happen this evening.
The iconic Red Arrows will be seen making their jaw-dropping aerobatic performances.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. as the planes make their way across Falmouth Bay. The crowd is advised to reach early to get the best possible view for the occasion.
Earlier in the day the Action Sports Tour will also showcase some daring stunts like they will be seen in the Events Square.
Bikers supported by Greenbank Hotel will include have-a-go sessions as well as mountain bikes, BMX bikes, and more. Shows are at 12 noon, 1.30 pm, 3 pm and 4.30 pm/pm.
The day will end with live music from the Briars Boys. The crew, which were formed in 2017, are famous for their Cornish folk tunes which are very popular in the region. Their set takes place at Custom House Quay from 7 pm onwards.
Roads closed:
Market Street, Grove Place, Woodlane and Grovehill Crescent Road will all remain closed between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., while Custom House Quay and Church Street car parks will be closed to road users.
Melville Road, Gillingves Hill, Spurnan Wynne Road, Fenwick Road, Boscawen Road, Melville Road, Emsley Road, Penance Road, Cliff Road, Falmouth Hotel Roundabout and King Charles School Roundabout will all be closed between 3 PM and 7.30 PM.
Organizers of Falmouth Week are recommending the use of public transport wherever possible to avoid overcrowding.
