Detroit – The Detroit People Mover The release of its auto show schedule has added longer service hours, which hit this weekend.
People Mover will be open until midnight Friday and early Saturday, September 9.
The current timing of 7 am to 7 pm for Monday to Thursday and will still be in effect with the exception of the shutdown on Sundays Detroit Auto Show which can be seen below.

| monday | 19 September – 22 September | 7 am – 10 pm |
DTC General Manager Robert Cramer said:
“We are encouraged by the support and interest shown by the community in requesting more service from a people mover. Our staff will be responsive to the mobility needs of city residents and city visitors as we measure the hours and stations available on the system. We are excited to be a part of making the return of the auto show yet another way to highlight the great things happening in the city.”
