Auburn is having trouble progressing to the potential starting quarterback this season.
TJ Finlay has been arrested for attempting to escape from the police department. The school is reportedly aware of the arrest.

“Auburn University football player TJ Finley is in custody at the Lee County Detention Facility on charges of allude to allude with the Auburn Police Department. According to detention records, Finlay was in custody as of Thursday, August 4.
Auburn fans are worried about this, especially since the season is about to start in a month.
Finlay spent the 2021 season with Auburn and played a minor role for the team as he supported starter Bo Knicks. He finished with 827 yards through the air, five touchdowns and one interception.
He is currently in a competition with Zach Calzada for the opening gig, although this arrest will set him back.
