The popular Café Bygones is now open on its new premises within the Wiesbeck Football Club and is celebrated with a drink reception on Thursday evenings.
Business is already going well at the Lynn Road eatery, with owner Andy Maul saying customers old and new are enjoying the traditional English fare.
Wisbeck Mayor Susan Wallwerk also attended Thursday’s reception, who said she was very impressed with the new location.
Bygones, which also operates popular home delivery and takeaway services, has been a popular Wiesbeck cafe since it first opened in the city in 1993.
It is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Mondays.
Andy has big plans for the business at his new location, which include evening shows, comedy and music nights, and Sunday carvings.
