Jen Jakola was the CEO of Matkahulto for nearly four years and a member of the board for 18 months. He was also chairman of the board at Trimico, where he led the complete restructuring of the company. Previously he was Business Sector Director, Digital Excellence at HiQ Finland, again providing digital transformation services. Prior to this he was Vice President and CIO at Suomen Lahikuppa Oy, among other key digital roles with Finnish companies. Jakola lived in Germany for several years and worked as Partnership Manager in Tropolis, Head of Information Management at Elisa Communication GmbH and Project Manager at Helsinki Telekom Deutschland GmbH. He has MSc. in Economics, majoring in Information Systems from Jyväskylä University and speaks Finnish, English and German.
