Billie Eilish surprised her fans with an intimate acoustic performance in Hollywood.
The 20-year-old singer marked a year after the release of her album ‘Happier Than Ever’ with her brother and musical partner Phineas with a stunning acoustic performance for 500 ticket holders at the famed Amoeba Music record store.
Billy opened his set with “Billy Bossa Nova” and performed the song “TV” before allowing his fans to tell him what they wanted to hear next. She eventually settled on the song “Getting Older” before closing her performance with “Happier Than Ever.”
The ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker told the crowd: “You guys are the best. It’s been the most amazing year, and you’ve been so sweet and respectful about this album, and I love you!”
Billy recently admitted that she makes “watching the sunlight” a “priority” when she is on tour because her solemn schedule means she has gone days in the past without seeing sunlight. .
She explained: “You know, we really made it such a priority, before COVID when I was touring, going crazy like crazy and doing this and that press all day. I wouldn’t want to see sunlight for days.
“Because it’s so easy. You go to sleep at night on the bus in the basement of one venue, you drive through the night, you wake up in another basement. It really gets you. Even a few months ago, I did Do not see sunlight for three days.
“And so for this tour, this European race we’re running now that’s almost over, which has been so wonderful and beautiful. We made it a great deal to make it a priority to go outside and see the sunlight. Kind of made, and getting food and going to the park. We play frisbee in the park like most days. So, that’s cool, that’s cool.”
