AKRON – Andre Maurice Ervin, 58, died on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Akron City Hospital.
Andre was born on 26 November 1963 in Warren to Taylor Lee Erwin Jr. and Janet B.
He was a Navy veteran and was always very active in sports, be it football, baseball or bowling, and also in supporting his favorite teams, the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State. Andre loved art and music and sang in the church choir.
He leaves his memory for his children, Camie Ann Williams and Cassandra Ann Baumgardner of Warren; also his siblings, Orlando Erwin Sr. (Heather) of Warren and Mario Ervin, Warren and Sonja Parker (Sam) of Cincinnati and Tracy Whitby of Cincinnati; his stepfather, Nathaniel Whitby of Courtland; And a grandson.
Andre was killed by his parents; his grandparents, Charles Bates, Gladys Bates, Taylor Erwin Sr. and Irene Erwin; and his uncles, Ralph Erwin, Stanley Erwin and Lonnie Erwin.
There will be a service Friday, August 12, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Staten-Borowski Funeral Home, where friends can call an hour before the service.
