It’s been a great off-season for wide receivers so far and it got even better on Sunday night. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport informed that 49ers And star wide receiver Dibo Samuel struck a deal with a $58.1 million guarantee on a three-year extension of $73.5 million, adding to a long list of wideouts that have been paid out since March.
However, all-star receivers who cashed in did not get a chance to be with their teams. Some, like AJ Brown, relocated when their teams traded. And in what appears to be a direct shot at his former team, Brown took to Twitter to react to Samuel’s alleged deal.
Brown said in the tweet, “Basically all 4 of us got the same contract and the only one I’m trading… yea trust me it was me.” “Anihu go birds.”
titans traded to brown Eagles Two on draft night in exchange for the 2022 draft amid his contract dispute. He eventually signed a four-year extension with the Eagles worth $100 million, per Sports IllustratedAlbert Breyer, Brown, along with Davante Adams and Tyrek Hill, were the only three standout receivers to sign a major extension after being traded.

Meanwhile Stephen Diggs, Cooper Kupp, DK Metcalf, Terry McLaurin, DJ Moore and now Samuel have all reportedly signed deals where they would make over $20 million a year while still with the same team.
In May, Brown released a Statement Saying that Tennessee fans threatened him because of Philadelphia’s trade. There still seems to be some bad blood in that fresh wound.
