The manufacturer registered a growth of 50% in the same month since its inception in India, as compared to its wholesale sales in the same period last year. For context, Toyota sold 13,105 units in July 2021 and registered a 19% increase in wholesale sales to 16,500 units sold in June 2022.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor will soon launch its 2022 Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyder Hybrid mid-size SUV in India, which was unveiled recently. The same SUV will be sold by Maruti Suzuki under their global partnership and will be called the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, which will be sold through Nexa dealerships as the company’s first robust hybrid, as well as the first mid-sized SUV for India. .

As far as the Toyota Urban Cruiser header is concerned, the SUV will come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a lightweight as well as strong hybrid option and a host of features including a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, HUD.
